This sepulchral brass figure, dated 1439, in the chancel of Swainswick Church in Somerset is dedicated to Edmund Forde who died in 1439. It can be found on the chancel floor and it measures two feet tall. As can be seen in this drawing there are three inscription scrolls appearing from his head and shoulders. Unfortunately this brass figure was stolen in 2002 after residing in this church for over 550 years.
