Bradshaw's Guide part 04
Composer: Albert, Fred
Popular music from any period gives an insight into life at the time, changes in fashions are recorded and innovations are celebrated. George Bradshaw claimed to have produced the first train timetable, and whether o not he was the first they soon became invaluable handbooks for Victorian travellers. His 'Guides' (Time tables was too narrow a term and Companion was unprofessional!) included maps of cites like Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.
