Ada Reeve was a Music Hall comedienne, she was born in Jubilee Street, Mile End in 1874, to theatrical parents, her mother was a dancer and her father was the actor 'Charles Reeve'. She gained a great deal of experience performing on stage whilst she was still a teenager and became one of the leading soubrettes of musical comedy. She was not only well known in the UK but throughout the world, she toured America, Canada, Australia and South Africa, and she even appeared on television, making her debut in 1947 as Queen Victoria.
