DescriptionThis exhibition, marking the 150th anniversary of Edward FitzGerald's publication of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, tells the story of an 11th century Persian scientist and poet and a Victorian English writer, and how their verses became one of the most successful publishing phenomena of the 19th and 20th centuries.
