| Research interests | My main specialization is the Tibetan Dunhuang manuscripts, particularly the Buddhist manuscripts. Recently I have been conducting research on the social history of Dunhuang and the sociology of manuscript production. More generally I have given talks and taught courses on the history of Buddhism in Tibet and Central Asia. My early doctoral research was on the Dzogchen teachings of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. |
