Resource Navigator Questions

1. What is it?

Resource Navigator can offer a simple search and discovery platform or can be built in modules to become a complete resource management system.  This customised approach means that you can take control of all the resources available to you on one platform.

2. Who is it for?

Resource Navigator provides an information resources management solution for Librarians and Information Managers who seek an end to end management system - from searching and delivering information to managing information resources and usage.

3. How do I get it?

To arrange a trial or a quote please contact marketing@bl.uk

4. How do I start using it?

Having entered into a trial or full subscription of Resource Navigator you will have been provided a Username, a Password and a URL web address. You are now prompted to enter your username and password. Simply enter the information you have been provided and click on the ‘login’ button. This will give you access to your Resource Navigator portal. There are some details which are necessary to fill in before you can begin ordering documents from Resource Navigator. After logging in, select the ‘My Account’ tab followed by ‘Personal Details’. Once these fields are all completed accurately, the user will be able to take advantage of all services offered by their Resource Navigator package.

6. Will I have to pay for future upgrades?

Resource Navigator is under constant review and development, meaning that existing operations will be built upon while new features are always being added. These upgrades occur without any inconvenience to subscribers. For more details on future developments, contact marketing@bl.uk

7. How can I receive articles – delivery options?

You can receive your documents in print or online. Our electronic delivery options include FileOpen, SED and Ariel. Please visit our Delivery Options page for more information.
