Everything you need to know about placing an order with Imaging Services.
Please note: The British Library and brightsolid have agreed a partnership to enable brightsolid to scan Library material housed at British Library Newspapers, Colindale, North London, and to make an online access database publicly available. This database is called the British Newspaper Archive.
We would like to make you aware that, if the image(s) you want to order are part of the British Library collections at Colindale, the Library will seek your agreement to pass your request to brightsolid.
brightsolid will say whether they wish to scan your item(s) within 60 calendar days. If brightsolid do not wish to scan your item(s), they will inform Imaging Services who will then fulfil your order as previously requested. For in-copyright material, you will need to have permissions to reproduce from the rights holder.
