The Science, Technology and Medicine Team at the British Library has three main functions:
- Collection development – we are responsible for developing and maintaining the science, technology and medicine collections, encompassing both print and electronic resources across all science subjects.
- Engaging with researchers – as well as holding a variety of events aimed at the scientific research community, we conduct a range of studies to understand our users and their information requirements.
- Developing products and services – we are developing innovative information products and services for researchers.

Science Reference Team
The Science Reference team is based in the Science Reading Rooms at St Pancras. They can help you make full use of our collections and assist with your reference enquiries. They also run regular workshops to help you with your research.
