This one-day event was held at the British Library in October 2012, organised in collaboration with colleagues from the International Association of Visual Urbanists and Goldsmiths, University of London. It created a space for art practitioners and researchers from the humanities and social sciences to explore the use of visual practices in investigating the city. The presentations and film screenings provoked debate about the use of visual methodologies and what it means to research urban space.
