Alphabetical Card Catalogue of the Russian Collection

This microfiche series, published by IDC Microform Publishers, reproduces on fiche the 8,500,000 cards that comprise the Alphabetical Card Catalogue of the Russian Book Collection of the National Library of Russia. The collection, which totals nearly 6,000,000 volumes, is one of the world's most complete collections of literary works in Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian.

The microfiche series, which covers all the Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian works held by the National Library, dating from 1725 to the present day, is split into 5 parts:

1. The Russian Catalogue [fiche nos. 1-6832]

2. Supplement to the Russian Catalogue [fiche nos. 6833-6887]

3. The Ukrainian Catalogue [fiche nos. 6888-7132]

4. The Belorussian Catalogue [fiche nos. 7133-7177]

5. The Serials Catalogue [fiche nos. 7178-7561]

The four monograph catalogues are arranged alphabetically by author and subject; the Serials Catalogue is arranged alphabetically by title.

The online version of the catalogue (1725-1998) is freely available through the website of the National Library of Russia.
