The British Library has major collections of government publications from most of the countries of the world, including the Caribbean. Holdings are strongest for the English-speaking Caribbean, and include eighteenth-century material such as some Acts of Assembly and Laws from Jamaica.
We aim to acquire the most significant official serials - such as official gazettes, census reports, the major statistical series, parliamentary debates and papers etc, although it is not always possible to obtain a regular supply. An audit of these official serials is underway and a listing of current titles will be added to these pages when available. Much government information relating to the Caribbean is available on the Internet (e.g. the official website of the Government of Anguilla, and the Barbados Government Information Service ); URLs will be added to the listing where possible.
