The Philatelic Collections are rich in Caribbean material mainly for former Colonial or Commonwealth countries. This material includes postage stamps, postal stationery, revenue stamps, telegraph stamps and paper money together with the associated artwork, essays, proofs, colour trials, issued items used and unused with some production records, etc. An indication of the range of items held in the various collections is given below.
The Tapling Collection. Postage stamps, postal stationery, telegraph stamps 1840 to 1899.
The Supplementary Collection. Postage stamps, with some proofs 1900 to 1922.
The Crown Agents Collection. Commonwealth Postage stamps 1922 to date.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office Collection. Commonwealth Postage stamps and postal stationery from about 1890 to 1992.
The Harrison Collection. Proofs of postage stamps engraved by J A C Harrison for Antigua and Jamaica.
The Universal Postal Union Collection. Postage Stamps from 1874 to date.
