This is one of a series of pages giving brief descriptions and summary lists of documents in the India Office Accountant-General's Records, as one of the India Office Records classes.
The Accountant-General's Department also served the Burma Office after its creation in 1937. Where necessary, it maintained separate accounts in respect of the Government of Burma. The method of keeping these accounts was almost identical to that used for the Government of India accounts, and each series of Burma Office accounts corresponds to an established India Office series.
