L/AG/6/1-32 Numbered Registers of Payments 1927-1966
Registers of day-by-day payments by the India Office, under various heads of account, for summary monthly in Ledgers and Abstracts. The system of numbered payment registers began in 1860, replacing the General Cash Journals series L/AG/1/14. Registers before 1947 generally do not survive, only samples having been preserved.
