Bibliothèque nationale de France
The catalogues of the French national library, a guide to its resources, and 1,700 links to other libraries and reference tools under the heading Les signets de la Bibliothèque. There is also access to Gallica, which provides digitised texts which are out of copyright.
Catalogue collectif de France
Includes a directory of contributing libraries, the retro-converted catalogues from 55 municipal and 7 special libraries, consisting of mainly pre-1811 material but also some local holdings, BN Opale Plus (the main printed books catalogue of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France), a directory of contributing libraries, and the Système Universitaire de Documentation (universities' union catalogue) useful for tracing periodicals as well as books.

The centre for scientific information and inter-lending. Six million articles, books and conferences are indexed on its site.

Gives information on scholarship in France and has some English content.

Contains texts (some are extracts only) created by Clicnet and also many links to texts created on other sites.
Gallica (Bibliothèque nationale de France)
The site gives access to the digitised holdings of the Bibliothèque nationale de France from the Middle Ages through to the early 20th century together with works from other French libraries, museums and organisations.
This site hosted by Webnet offers more than 4400 French-language poems from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century. Search by author, title, country, century or keyword.
