Alternatively, reels can be consulted in the Boston Spa reading room, or in the St. Pancras Reading Rooms (free of charge) by filling in a Document Supply material request form. The collection contains more than 1,000 books, broadsides, and pamphlets, including material by Herzen, Bakunin, Chernyshevskii, Tkachev, Plekhanov, Kropotkin, Chernov, Martov, Trotskii and Lenin. There are also many ephemeral pieces, anonymous or pseudonymous, which were distributed among workers and peasants before and during the 1905 Revolution.
