Legal Deposit
Publishers and distributors of Philatelic literature in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland have a legal obligation to send one copy of each of their publications to the Legal Deposit Office of the British Library within one month of publication.

Valuations
The British Library does not undertake philatelic valuations. It is suggested that those seeking valuations of stamps and philatelic material should consult a reputable philatelic auctioneer or dealer, listed in the Yellow Pages telephone directory.
