British Architectural Library (RIBA Library) The database, which is updated daily, currently contains over 215,000 records of material catalogued and indexed since the early 1980s. Approximately 15,000 records are added to the database each year. It includes: an index to over 300 of the world's most respected architectural periodicals held in the RIBA Library; a catalogue of the books and audio visual materials acquired by the RIBA Library, including details of books available for loan to RIBA members; a catalogue of the RIBA Library Photographs Collection, including listings of slides available for hire; a catalogue of drawings and other materials acquired by the RIBA Library Drawings Collection since 1986, with brief entries now being added for acquisitions added earlier; a catalogue of the RIBA Library Manuscripts Collection; a biographical database of architects.
