The British Library is the national library of the United Kingdom. Our collection currently includes 150 million items covering all disciplines, from archaeology to zoology, in a wide range of formats.
We have Reading Rooms in three locations (two in London and one in Yorkshire):
St Pancras
Our main site, in Central London, has 11 Reading Rooms. Here you can view all of our collections except for most of our printed Newspaper collections.
British Library Newspapers
The Reading Rooms at Colindale, North London, provide access to most of the Library's major collections of British and overseas newspapers.
Boston Spa
In the Library's Reading Room near Wetherby, W Yorkshire, you can view over 7 million items from our Research Collection.
