Resource highlight: Factiva
The potential economic impact of the Olympics is debated in the press on an almost daily basis. So a tool which helps you keep on top of news stories, comment and analysis, and which you can use to uncover trends in reporting and the research that lies behind the headlines, is essential. Factiva is an excellent database for this - it provides the latest news from more than 10,000 publications, plus newswires and BBC Monitoring. Coverage goes back to the mid 1990s, and the web 2.0 search option displays charts and graphs of the results to uncover trends, article timelines, top companies and people mentioned, and more.
