Carers are losing out on £40m, royal trust claims

The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and Crossroads Care claim that only £10m of the £50m allocated to provide respite for carers has been used for the intended purpose. Much of the money has been diverted to NHS Primary Care Trusts and other services.
