Summarises provisions of the Homes Bill with regard to homeless people. These include laying duties on local authorities to take a strategic approach to homelessness and to provide permanent accommodation for the homeless. Priority need categories will be extended to include 16- and 17-year olds, care leavers and people with an institutionalised background.
