Report is based on separate focus group sessions held in Glasgow with homeless people and professionals working in the field. Within the homeless persons focus group all participants had experienced varying degrees of financial exclusion which in itself was seen as a hindrance to securing permanent accommodation. Many homeless people expressed a desire to manage money and to access appropriate financial services. Study suggests that homeless people may benefit from initiatives to address financial exclusion alongside other issues they face.
