FRAUDSTERS 'MADE MILLIONS' FROM ADULT LEARNING SCHEME

Millions of pounds of public money were lost in fraud under a government scheme for adult education, a report by the National Audit Office said yesterday. Now closed, individual learning accounts (ICAs), which enabled people to claim subsidies for training courses had been subject to tens of millions of pounds in fraudulent claims.
