The development of policies and the delivery of services to promote the social inclusion of people with a chronic physical disability or mental illness is crucial for the creation of an inclusive society. Report examines how this process can be driven forward. It reviews the nature and scale of the problems facing different groups of disabled people and identifies policy initiatives in employment, education, housing and transport which facilitate their social and economic integration.
