ALZHEIMER'S CAREGIVER DIFFERENCES IN EXPERIENCE OF LOSS, GRIEF REACTIONS AND DEPRESSIVE SYMPTOMS ACROSS STAGE OF DISEASE

K. Betts Adams and S. Sanders

Dementia, vol.3, 2004, p.195-210

The article examines the grief and depression experienced by caregivers in the early, middle and late stages of dementia. However, emotional demands varied as the disease progressed and it is important to facilitate grieving at each stage.
