The British Library hosts a special preview of On the Road, Walter Salles's long-awaited adaptation of Jack Kerouac's great American novel. After the death of his father, writer Sal Paradise (Sam Riley) meets Dean Moriarty (Garrett Hedlund), a young and seductive ex-con. Determined not to get trapped in a narrow life, the two friends hit the road. Thirsting for freedom, they discover the world, others and themselves.
The film opens in cinemas across the UK on 12 October 2012.
