Two British Library readers present their findings and talk about the role of our collections in their research.. Miranda Kaufmann reveals how the Library manuscript collection lead to her discovery of 135 Africans spending a week outside Bristol in 1590. Michael Ohajuru made use of the Library to gain an insight into the making, location and viewing of a roodscreen featuring a black magus found in early 16th century Devon.
