How do sporting mega events reshape and redefine society? And to what end? Join scholars, policy makers and the private sector for a one-day conference focused on the 2012 London Olympics and the upcoming 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic and Paralympic games in Brazil.

The keynote speakers are Prof. Kenneth Maxwell, Harvard University and Prof. Andy Miah, University of the West of Scotland.

Refreshments and a sandwich lunch is included in the ticket price.
