Doctoral Open Day: English & Drama – 19th to 21st Century

The literary collections at the British Library are unparalleled. Whether you’re looking for an edition of Shakespeare published during the playwright’s lifetime or an email sent by one of the leading British poets of the 21st century, the Library almost certainly has what you need to support your research.

Our Doctoral Open Days are a chance for new PhD students to discover the British Library’s unique research materials. At this free event you will learn about our English and Drama collections from the 19^th – 21^st Centuries, find out how to access them, and meet our expert staff and other researchers in your field. The events are solely for first year PhD students who are new to the Library. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
