London-based African poets explore notions of culture, identity and finding a voice during this reflective poetry evening. Kenyan-born Somali poet Warshan Shire, Ugandan Nick Makoha and others will perform works dealing with core themes of identity and migration, manhood and womanhood and the politics of war, peace and love.
