For this unique recital The Turner Ensemble will perform key works by Britten alongside pieces by Frank Bridge, Britten's composition teacher for whom he had great admiration and affection.
The Turner Ensemble is the brainchild of a group of distinguished principal players from the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
This event is part of Britten 100, celebrating the centenary of Benjamin Britten in 2013
