View the work of conservation and gain an insight into the techniques used to care for our collections on a ‘behind the scenes' tour of the Conservation Studios and an opportunity to see intriguing and unusual items from the British Library's collections.
There is a choice of a morning or an afternoon tour, starting at 10.30 or 14.00.
Each tour has a maximum number of 12 people
- Coats and bags (including handbags) cannot be taken into the studios
- These tours are not suitable for children under 12 owing to the nature of the tools and equipment used in the studios
