  • Paul Trevillion is a world-renowned sports artist, famous for the legendary comic strip character Roy of the Rovers and his cult classic 'You are the Ref' strip, once in Shoot! magazine and now appearing weekly in The Observer. Paul has illustrated for numerous publications over six decades, has authored 20 books and has met and drawn some of sport's biggest names, including Pelé, Bobby Moore, George Best, Franz Beckenbauer, Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Sugar Ray Robinson and Oscar de la Hoya. As a young man, he also met and drew British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
  • Keith Hackett is considered one of the greatest referees ever. A full time ref from 1976 to 1994, he officiated during the 1981 FA Cup final and during the 1988 European Championship Finals. Keith went on to become Head of Premier League referees, and remains one of the most authoritative voices on the laws of Football. He has collaborated with Paul Trevillion on 'You Are The Ref' for many years.
  • Sue Lopez was one of the most prominent women's football players in the 1970s, playing for Southampton and for Roma in the National Italian Women's Leagues. She was involved as an official during the Women's Football Association's campaign for better representation, and won Coach award for Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year. She received an Honorary Doctorate from University of Southampton for services to women's football, was inducted to the National Football Museum's Hall of Fame in 2004. She is author of Women on the Ball: A Guide to Women's Football.
  • Perry Groves was a star of Arsenal’s super-successful late Eighties and early Nineties squad, winning the league title with them in both 1989 and 1991, and appearing in two League Cup finals. He remains a cult figure for Arsenal fans. In recent years he has become a popular voice on radio; for TalkSport, for ‘Fighting Talk’ and ‘Kicking off’ on BBC Radio 5 Live and Absolute Radio's Sony Award winning 'Rock 'N' Roll Football'. He also appears on Sports Tonight TV.
  • Caroline Barker hosts some of the world’s biggest sports shows, from Sportshour and Sportsworld on the BBC World Service, to working across the 5live Non League Football Show and a familiar voice of sport on BBC Radio 2, 4 and 5live.
