Coast and Town presenter Nicholas Crane is perhaps best known to the cartographic community for his biography of Gerard Mercator and his two BBC series entitled Map Man. To conclude this year’s British Cartographic Society AGM, he speaks on his experiences as an explorer and geographer and the role that maps have played in his life, both professional and private.
