Family Activity - Peter Pan and the Ticking Crocodile
When: Tue 29 Oct 2013, 11.00-13.00 repeated 14.00-16.00
Where: Entrance Hall, British Library
Price: Free, no booking required
Be inspired by Peter Pan and friends! Help our artist create a giant Peter Pan installation, be mesmerised by enchanting stories and even write your own! Come dressed as your favourite character to win a prize!
Kevin Graal, storyteller extraordinaire, will be winding his way in and out of the Picture This: Children’s Illustrated Classics exhibition and through a Peter Pan-inspired story adventure. This is interactive storytelling at its best, with tales within tails, and time and space to create your own stories and maybe even books!
Meanwhile, Sara Byers will be leading on the artistic front. Readers beware! The Library will slowly fill up with flying children, but watch out for the Ticking Crocodile, and families get ready – we need you to put the colour back into his cheeks (and tail).
Suitable for families with children aged 3-10 years but all welcome.
Times: 11.00-13.00 and repeated at 14.00-16.00
