Where: Staff Restaurant, British Library

By way of videogames and television, interactive fiction is with us. Has the printed book been left behind, or has it been 'interactive' for some time? Bringing together thinkers on old and new media alike, the second of the British Library’s Digital Conversations series will consider interactive narration with and without the traditional book, discussing how narratives are constructed in the digital environment, how the web is blurring the distinction between authors and readers by enabling users to interact more directly in the creation of stories and how authors and publishers are using digital narrative to engage with new audiences
Free event (includes wine and nibbles)
