The Group for Literary Archives and Manuscripts (GLAM) was established in 2005 to bring together anyone with an interest in the collecting, preservation, use and promotion of literary archives and manuscripts in Britain and Ireland. This one-day symposium will explore the cataloguing of literary archives in their current context. Archivists, academics and writers will consider the challenges of documenting creative literary activity, focusing particularly on new approaches, cataloguing as a collaborative act, and the opportunities of the digital age.
