'Inspiring Science at the British Library 'is a series of events and activities that celebrates science and scientists.
Join us as we open up our collections and spaces to enable you to share the excitement surrounding scientific discovery, ideas and information.
Our events schedule runs from 11 to 24 March 2013. The events are aimed at anyone with an interest in science and what it can tell us about ourselves and the world around us.
Highlights from the programme include: science inspired artworks across the Library’s public spaces, a comedy night for the sci-curious with hosts Festival of the Spoken Nerd, and an exploration of creativity with a neuroscientist, philosophers and 'extreme puppeteers'.
For A-level students there is a special lecture series offering the chance to hear from scientists and get a taste of university-style lectures. Book your free place
