Description: |
Illuminated miniature in three sections: The top left is a doctor surgically removing haemorrhoids from a patient, while below a doctor removes a nasal growth, and to the right a doctor removes cataracts from the eye of his patient. To excise the haemorrhoids the surgeon uses a clawed separator, and holds a knife in the right. The bowl on which the patient is standing may have been intended to catch the blood. |
