Two montages (now dismembered) of a section of historiated border of a full-length figure of the apostle Philip with a Tau cross in gold monochrome and cartouches inscribed in capitals 'Videte manus / meas et pedes / meos / quia / ego ipse / sum' and 'Adhuc autem il / lis non creden / tibus et miran / tibus pre gaudio / dixit' (f. 84b; 270 x 40 mm), and two panels inscribed 'Capellae / et / Sacrestiae / Apostolicae / Miniator / Fecit' (f. 84a; 45 x 40 mm) and 'Sedente Pio IV / Pont. Opt. Max. / de Medicis / Mediolanense' (f. 84c; 40 x 40 mm); and of a section of historiated border of a full-length figure of the apostle James The Great with a walking stick in gold monochrome and cartouches inscribed in capitals 'Quid turbati es / stis et cogita / tiones ascen / dunt in corda vestra ' and 'Palpate et vid / ete quia spiritus / carnem et ossa / non habet: sicut / me videtis habere' (f. 85b; 270 x 40 mm), and two panels inscribed 'Apollonius / de Bonfratellis / de Capranica' (f. 85a; 45 x 40 mm) and 'Anno Domini / MDLXI' (f. 85c; 40 x 40 mm). |
