Ownership inscription of the cathedral priory of St Andrew, Rochester, reading 'Liber de claust[r]o Roffens[i] quem qui inde alienav[er]it aliena/tum celaverit, vel hunc titulum in fraudem delev[erit] Ana/thema sit Amen', with another inscription added by Thomas Wybarn, monk of Rochester, recording that the book was written by Humphrey, precentor, reading 'hu[n]c lib[ru]m sc[r]ipsit f[rate]r Hu[m]frid[us] in claust[r]o roff[ens]is quo[n]da[m] / p[re]centor illi[us] eccl[es]ie ... die[m] p[ro]picit[ur] de[us] am[en]', and 'orate p[ro] eo quod Wybarn.' |
