Description: |
Two initial-word panels, the upper one is a historiated panel, We-im (and if) with a seated bearded man and a smaller naked figure wrestling with a lion (for the identification of the naked figure see Narkiss 1982, I, p. 81). The lower one is a decorated initial-word panel, YaKeNHaZ. Depicted in the lower margin is the Havdalah ceremony: a man holding a goblet streching out his hand over a lit candle held by a boy. |
