David and Samuel
Description: Historiated initial, 'D'(omine) with the anointing of David by Samuel below a cloud with the hand of God, with a bas-de-page scene of a monk of St. Peter's at Cologne who had died unconfessed and devils had seized his soul, then had appealed to the Virgin who restored his soul. 
Origin: England (London/Westminster or East Anglia?)
