Arms of Queen Isabella
Description: Full-page miniature containing the arms of Queen Isabella, supported in the talons of an eagle (for St John), above which is a scroll, with the legend "Sub umbra alarum tuarum protege nos". Below are two shields with the arms of her children, the Infante Juan (John), impaling those of his wife the Archduchess Margaret of Austria, daughter of the Emperor Maximilian I, and the Infanta Juana (Joanna), impaled with those of her husband Philip of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, with mottoes.
