Boethius and Fortune
Description: A miniature of a bearded Boethius lying in bed addressing Lady Fortune, who is seated beside him, wearing a crown and gold cloak; in a roundel a blindfolded, robed woman holds the wheel of fortune, surrounded by souls swimming in the Sea of Life. A historiated initial 'P'(uis) of a seated figure, writing, probably Boethius at the beginning of book 2.
