Description: A zoomorphic initial ‘O’(Sancte iacobe) of animals (one wearing a bishop’s mitre and carrying a crozier) and vines, at the beginning of prayers to St James, with a full border of pilgrim’s staffs and scallop shells, the symbol of St James.
