Description: A miniature of a sailing ship at sea with sailors looking up at the Virgin, Child and angels in the starry sky above, from pseudo-Anselm of Canterbury, ‘Sermo de conceptione Beatae Mariae’, with a decorated initial ‘T’(empore) illo quo diuine placuit pietati Anglorum gentem de malis suis corrigere et sue seruitutis).
