Dormition and Coronation of the Virgin
Description: Miniature of Peter, Christ, an angel, and Paul standing over the Virgin Mary's deathbed; Christ holds Mary's soul, depicted as the figure of a small child. On the right, a miniature of the Coronation of the Virgin, with Christ placing a crown on Mary's head, with two adoring angels looking on, in Matfré Ermengau of Béziers's Breviari d'Amour.
