Description: Four miniatures of Christ's descent into hell. Bottom left: miniature of the Harrowing of Hell, as Christ delivers the souls of Adam and Eve from the hell-mouth. Upper right: miniature of three souls chained in the hell-mouth of Purgatory. Centre right: miniature of three youthful souls in the hell-mouth of Limbo. Lower right: three souls engulfed in flame in the hell-mouth of Hell, in Matfré Ermengau of Béziers's Breviari d'Amour.
